I had just put my camera away and continued on my way toward my car when I passed these lovely little tree blossoms. This was the same tree I had photographed here in the fall.

A springtime daffodil! I wasn't entirely pleased with the daffodil photos, because to get a shot straight-on, the flower ended up in the shadow of my camera (thanks a lot, golden hour!). I liked this one though, because the bug is in focus (although tiny).

And another close-up. Not washed out this time. Also pointing toward the ground instead of toward the sky, to give a nice brown background! In this photo I was trying to pick up the little bits of pink at the base of the petals.

Yesterday I was feeling quite golden so I decided to try to take some photos during the golden hour. Technically these were taken a bit before the last hour of sunlight, but that is close enough for me.
